对日元贬值的猜测致使日本投资者将资金注入海外

根据美国商品期货交易委员会提供的数据，大多数期货交易者投注日元对美元汇率将有所提升，而且这一数目创了新记录。

Futures traders are betting in record numbers
that the yen will gain against the U.S. currency, figures from the
Washington-based Commodity Futures Trading Commission
show.

 

The difference in the number of
wagers（赌注者） by hedge funds（避险基金，套利基金） and other
large speculators on an advance in the yen compared with those on a
drop -- so-called net longs（净多头） -- was 65,920 on March 25,
compared with net longs of 55,759 a week earlier. The number is
sometimes seen as a contrary indicator（相反的指示） because of the
risk of large swings should the currency change
direction.

 

``The markets have already piled up a record
high of long- yen positions,'' said Tomoko Fujii, head of economics
and strategy for Japan at Bank of America Corp. in Tokyo, the
second-largest U.S. bank. ``This will stand in the way of a weak
dollar and strong yen.''

Japan's currency may move between 97.50 and 101 per dollar this
week, Fujii forecast.
