CEF Python
CEF Python is an open source project founded by Czarek Tomczak in 2012 to provide python bindings for the Chromium Embedded Framework (in short CEF), a web browser control based on Google Chrome. With CEF you can implement a HTML 5 based GUI in a desktop application or provide browser capabilities to an application, see the growing list of applications using CEF on the CEF wikipedia page. Bindings to CEF are possible thanks to Cython with which you can call back and forth from and to C or C++ code natively.
