Linux下MYSQL无法启动问题

当MYSQL出现一下情况无法启动时：

[root@mail falcon]# mysql -uroot -p

Enter password:

ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)

[root@mail falcon]# /usr/sbin/mysqld

080416 8:17:30 [ERROR] Fatal error: Please read "Security" section of the manual to find out how to run mysqld as root!

080416 8:17:30 [ERROR] Aborting

080416 8:17:30 [Note] /usr/sbin/mysqld: Shutdown complete

解决方法：

[root@mail falcon]# su mysql

bash-2.05b$ /usr/sbin/mysqld

080416 8:22:22 InnoDB: Started; log sequence number 0 43922

080416 8:22:22 [Warning] mysql.user table is not updated to new password format; Disabling new password usage until mysql_fix_privilege_tables is run

/usr/sbin/mysqld: ready for connections.

Version: '4.1.15-standard' socket: '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' port: 3306 MySQL Community Edition - Standard (GPL)

MYSQL启动成功

[root@mail falcon]# mysql -uroot -p123456

mysql>

忘记MYSQL密码解决方法：

#killall mysqld

＃/usr/bin/safe_mysqld --skip-grant-tables

#mysql

mysql>
