Howto Install and Configure Chinese Input Methods on Ubuntu

InstallChinese language support:
SystemSettings->Language Support->Install/Remove Languages->selectchinese (simplified) and apply changes;

Addinput methods:
SystemSettings->Language Support->Keyboard input methodsystem->select ibus

Rightclick on the keyboard icon on the top bar (right corner), and selectPreferences,configure as follow picture:



Switchto Input method select an input methods, chinese, pinyin and add;



Pressctrl+space, switch to pinyin input method, click the preference iconto configure the input method (including fuzzy syllable settings).
