Updates/upgrades to OS, application, database or hardware

Addition/modification of objects

New/modified users, groups, and roles

For VMs:

Deployment/modification/deletion of VM

Change in life cycle stage

Movement of VM to new host

For virtual networks:

Adding/deleting/modifying virtual switches

Modifying VLANs, trunks, and so on

Network properties (for example, promiscuous mode)

For VM templates:

Generation of a new template from a VM

Conversion or cloning to a VM for changes

Reconversion of a VM back to a template after changes
