这个代替了开始菜单的Server Manager，就像微软所说，在单个控制台中对多个服务器进行远程管理，我们先来看看它的新增功能：

1、添加服务器和创建服务器组：

在 Windows Server 2012 中，你可以使用单个 服务器管理器 控制台来管理多个远程服务器。要通过 服务器管理器 管理的服务器可以是运行 Windows Server 2012、Windows Server 2008 R2、Windows Server 2008 或 Windows Server 2003 的服务器。

这个应该是对小型网络来说的，对大一点的网络，服务器较多的话，应该使用Microsoft System Center 套件来进行管理。

在 Windows Server 2012 中，你可以使用 服务器管理器 控制台和适用于 服务器管理器 的 Windows PowerShell cmdlet 在本地或远程服务器上，或在脱机虚拟硬盘(VHD) 上安装角色和功能。你可以在单个 “添加角色和功能”向导 或 Windows PowerShell 会话中为单个远程服务器或脱机 VHD 安装多个角色和功能。

这些功能在服务器启动后的欢迎磁贴上就可以找到。具体：服务器管理器——工具——打开欢迎磁贴。









下一个问题，我们要解决服务器上网的问题，我们知道，微软为了服务器的安全，一般都是限制管理员任意打开网站的，如果要打开IE，会出现下图所示。如果要正常上网，一般对IE的安全要做一些设置。





我们知道，Server 2008 R2一般是这样设置的：服务器管理器——配置IE ESC——禁用就可以了。





那么Server 2012是如果配置的呢，费了很一会儿，我找到了如下的英语帮助：

1、To turn off Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration Close any Internet Explorer browser windows that you might have open.

2、Open Server Manager

3、If your server is running Windows Server? 2012, click Configure this local server to open the Local Server configuration page. Then, in the Properties area, next to IE Enhanced Security Configuration, click On to open the Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration dialog.

4、To allow members of the local Administrators group to use Internet Explorer in its default client configuration, under Administrators click Off.

To allow members of all other groups to use Internet Explorer in its default client configuration, under Users click Off.

Note ：Once the Internet Explorer Enhanced Configuration is turned off for one set of users, Server Manager will display Off next to Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration.

5、Click OK to apply your changes.

大意是： 关闭IE——打开服务器管理器——本地服务器配置——属性——IE增强的安全配置









这样就可以取消了管理员的上网限制。

管理菜单：

与Server 2008 R2一样，只不过把添加角色和功能合并了。





在安装过程中多了一个远程桌面服务安装，大概是配置上面的新功能，管理多服务器用的吧。





我们可以为一个虚拟的VHD文件安装服务：





先角色后功能，这个是对Server 2008 的合并和简化。









工具：基本涵盖了以前Server系统开始菜单里的所有管理工具。如果要找计算机管理，就这儿了。
