只要源代码文件有run或者其他可执行文件就可以，matlab 和ImageJ亲测通过。 creat a launch button

Find your software's icon.If it is not already in the directory, download the icon
Copy it to /usr/share/pixmaps.
In the Gnome panel, at the top of
the screen, right click and choose "Add to panel...".
Select "Custom Application
Launcher".
Push the "Browse"
button, find the 'run' script and select it.
Click on the "No Icon" button and select the the
icon in /usr/share/pixmaps
