Visual Studio 2010 RC Uninstallation Instructions / Visual Studio 2010 RC 卸载说明

如大家所知，万众瞩目的Visual Studio 2010 发布了，中文版应该正在上传，目前MSDN上只有英文版..

可能有一些朋友已经安装了RC版本，必须先卸载RC才能安装RTM版本。每次卸载旧版本都是一个比较麻烦的事，这次也不例外。VS2010的说明文件里没有提及卸载旧版本的细节，需要找RC版本的说明文件，经过几个链接的跳转后，找到了一份RC版本的Readme，现将卸载部分摘录如下，以便大家参考。

红色部分是我添加的内容，Readme中未提及，只是根据我机器上的列表进行了补充。 猛击下载完整的Readme文件，请自行更改后缀为htm。

1. Open "Programs and Features" in Control Panel (also known as Add-Remove Programs):

2. Uninstall all instances of Visual Studio 2010 products (for example, Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate).

3. Optionally, uninstall the following supporting products that may have been installed with Visual Studio 2010. NOTE: These components may also be used by other product suites on your computer.

a. Web Deployment Tool

b. Silverlight 3 SDK

Silverlight 4 SDK

Silverlight 4 Tools for Visual Studio 2010 RC

c. Visual Studio 2010 Tools for SQL Server Compact 3.5 SP2

d. SQL Server Compact 3.5 SP2

e. SQL Server 2008

Reboot needed.

f. SQL Server 2008 Native Client

g. SQL Server 2008 R2 Management Objects

h. SQL Server System CLR Types

And other SQL Server series..

Blend series, include SDK, IDE.

4. Uninstall other remaining supporting products, in the specified order. (Ignore items that are not present on your computer.)

a. The .NET Framework version 4 Language Pack

b. The .NET Framework version 4 Extended (reboot, if prompted)

You can skip reboot and uninstall item c (see below) first.

c. The .NET Framework version 4 Client (reboot, if prompted)
