Later, Phil Schiller took the stage to share some other impressive numbers: iPod Apple has sold over 220 million iPods to date It’s one of the most successful products in history In the U.S., the iPod has 73.8% market share The next biggest MP3 player is “other” with 18% “Microsoft pulling in the rear with just about 1%” There have been over 20 million iPod touches sold.
