例子 1:

Hello,

My name is Echo Lin, and I am writing on behalf of the App Store Marketing Team to request art assets for a potential upcoming promotional opportunity on the App Store.

The team here is excited about http://itunes.apple.com/cn/app/xxxxxxxxxx, but we want to be clear that we cannot make any guarantees about promotion on the App Store. These art assets are necessary for our Design team to have on-hand

For consideration, it would be great if we could receive your artwork as soon as possible.

If you are able to accommodate us, please email all artwork to:

echolin@apple.com with the subject line: iOS App: Developer Name - App Name (Apple ID)

While creating your art assets for submission, you may refer to the Specifications and Guidelines that have been

listed below. Please note that while you can suggest creative direction, Apple designers will choose the final design

that works best for the App Store.

If for any reason you are unable to accommodate us in this request, please let us know ASAP.

Thanks in advance.

Sincerely,

Echo Lin

Specifications and Guidelines for iOS Art Asset Submission

1) Please provide a folder containing the Background Art, Title Treatment, Icon and Company Logo. The folder must be named exactly as your app appears on the App Store, using the following naming convention:

Developer Name – App Name

(ie: Acme, Inc. – Touch Fighter)

If you are creating localized assets, please separate those assets and place them into subfolders named for the specific language used.

2) Provide the Background Art, Title Treatment and Company Logo as separate layered .psd files. The Icon may be a flattened image.

3) When creating your art, please follow the specifications listed below:

Background Art:

2048x750 pixel image at 72 dpi

The background image, texture, color or gradient should correspond to the application and complement the Title Treatment. It may include elements of the application itself, but should not be, nor include, screenshots.

Title Treatment:

1200x400 pixel image at 72 dpi

The title treatment should be easy to read when scaled down to a small size. Please remove all tags or bylines. If you wish to combine your Title Treatment with your Background Art for placement ideas, please make sure that all elements are on separate layers.

Application Icon:

512x512 alpha-channeled pixel image

Company Logo:

High-res with alpha channel, at 200 dpi

4) Try and avoid the following:

•pixelation, artifacts, high-contrast background art, blurry or hard crops (unless stylistic); keep all talent visible

•imagery depicting sex, violence, gore, drugs, explicit language or hate themes

•any visual representation of iPhone, iPad, iPod, or any other Apple hardware

5) Please feel free to reference the following example while creating your art for submission:

If a developer has a App, called "Chronicle,” the Title Treatment could have the word “Chronicle” in some fancy font, and the background image could have a stack of papers with a stamp laying across them.

With the name of the app (the Title Treatment) separate from the Background Art, we have the ability to place the title on the background where it would best fit for the particular piece or page being

designed.

You may think of it like this, the combination of Title Treatment and Background Art are similar to what a developer would put on the box of their software. Take a look at the App Store and you will see many examples of Title Treatments and Background Art.

Specifications and Guidelines for iOS Art Asset Submission

1) Create a folder containing all of the requested art. The folder must be named exactly as your app appears on the App Store, using the following naming convention:

Developer Name – App Name

(ie: Acme, Inc. – Touch Fighter)

If your app is localized into different languages, we would also like to collect these assets as well. Separate those assets and place them into subfolders named for the specific language used.

2) Provide the Background Art, Title Treatment and Company Logo as separate layered .psd files. The Icon may be a flattened image.

3) When creating your art, please follow the specifications listed below:

Background Art: 3200x600 pixel image at 72 dpi

All elements must be on separate layers

The background image, texture, color or gradient should correspond to the application and complement the Title Treatment. It may include elements of the application itself, but should not be, nor include, screenshots.

Add more than just a single colored background

Title Treatment: 2004x586 pixel image at 72 dpi

The title treatment should be easy to read when scaled down to a small size.

Please try to keep your title treatment to one line. The more lines that your title is displayed on, the more difficult it might be to read when scaled to a small size.

Remove all tags or bylines.

If you wish to combine your title treatment with your background art for placement ideas, make sure that all elements are on separate layers. You must also still submit a separate .psd file of your title treatment.

Application Icon: 1024x1024 alpha-channeled pixel image

Company Logo: High-res with alpha channel, at 200 dpi

4) We cannot accept art that contains the following:

pixelation, artifacts, high-contrast background art, blurry or hard crops (unless stylistic); keep all talent visible

imagery depicting sex, violence, gore, drugs, explicit language or hate themes

any visual representation of iPhone, iPad, iPod, or any other Apple hardware

App Store Design Specifications v2

Design Guidelines

With the introduction of the Retina display and a newly redesigned App Store, high-resolution photos, images, and logos are now required for the design of promotional pages. When you submit artwork, you need to provide high-resolution images accompanied by scalable vector or high-resolution logos. Note that final art is subject to change. These files will be used to create multiple assets for iPad, iPhone, and desktop.

When submitting artwork to the App Store, the following items should be included:

Layered PSD files.

Separate layers for characters/main images, title treatment, and background.

Make sure that any text or logo is in the center of the artwork, in the Text/Logo Safe Area, as shown below.

The Minimum View is 994 x 600 pixels. Texts or logos should not exceed the Minimum View of 994 pixels and should not exceed 400 pixels in height.

Ensure that you do not include any text or logos in the Tag Area, as this area is needed for iTunes-related tags. The Tag Area is part of the Minimum View and 200 pixels in height from bottom of the artwork.
