How To Create Shared Disks By VBoxManage Command

Today,i want to configure oracle solaris cluster 4.0 on solaris 11,but vmware workstation 8 does't have good compatibility with share storage.So,i use VirtualBox 4 to configure OSC 4.Following steps show you how to create shared disk by VBoxManage command.

Create Disks:

Before you do,ensure where you want to create shared disk,here i created four disks in /share/viros/sharedisk directory:

The quorum's size just 200MB,others are 20G.





Connect them to the VM:

I have two virtual machines:osc01 and osc02.First i connected them to osc01.



Make shareable:



After that,you can connect them to osc02 by VirtualBox Manager or VBoxManage command.
